Not making enough sales from your article affiliate marketing and want to do something about it?
There are a few things you can take positive action on as I see it.
1) Are the articles you have written optimized and of a good quality?
Generally, you’d want to write keyword optimized articles with your targeted keyword phrase in your headline and a few times in your article copy. The content of your article must also be helpful to anyone who wants to read it. If your article benefits someone, they will click through to your resource box.
Also, the title of your article is vital. It can make or break the success of your article in terms of the traffic you get.
2) Are the products you are promoting top quality?
If the product has a poor looking sales page or does not have a proven track record, ditch it for another product and test your results. Sometimes, the offer or product makes all the difference.
Sometimes it is not about building trust, building a relationship, or even getting the maximum clickthroughs - it is the quality of offer (does it provide killer benefits?).
Once you find a product that converts amazingly well, stick with it and promote it.
3) Does your resource box entice people to click?
You’d want to write your resource box in the same way you might write a classified ad. Keep it short, neat and benefit-driven. Have a call-to-action in your resource box to generate more clickthroughs to your affiliate link.
